Jane is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Newington, CT.  She is a CT licensed massage therapist and has received training in Craniosacral Therapy.

Jane’s love of horses led her to a degree in Animal Science and while working with horses she watched a massage session on an 1800 pound horse that was in pain with every step he took.  After 45 minutes of massage therapy, to the amazement of everyone watching, the horse went from walking in pain to a solid trot!  Jane knew there was something to this massage therapy stuff.  With her background in anatomy and physiology, she attended CCMT and learned to combine an innate hands-on ability from life-long animal experience to the techniques of massage therapy for humans including energy work.  Jane offers a session that may include any combination of Swedish, Craniosacral Therapy, Energetic or Deep Tissue Therapy, based on individual needs.

Dominique Daly and Judy Stafford, RN:

Dominique Daly: one of several paths leading me to bodywork

The son of a performing artist mother and scientist father, I was born in Paris, France, where I received a broad-based education in Arts, Sciences, Literature and Physical Education. My natural inclination for learning and the focused coaching of exceptional educators led me to explore all fields of knowledge within the context of solid human values, which I cultivate mindfully today.

While still a child, I was introduced to Hath-Yoga and the practice of meditation; this eventually brought me to study Eastern Philosophy, which delineated an all important holistic theme in my life.

In my early twenties I moved to the United States and soon afterwards entered into a partnership to open a retail business venture selling Art objects of all origins. During this period I studied meditation in movement (Taiji), the Chinese art of healing with energy (Qigong), and Shiatsu. The retail venture became very successful, and eventually financed my early retirement from the business life.

In 1995, I took a 5-year sabbatical which included traveling back to my native country of France and later to India. In 2000, I moved to upstate New York and immersed myself entirely in volunteering activities. I later became involved for a short period with the Integrative Therapies program at the Hartford Hospital, to dispense Energetic Medicine and Reiki sessions to Oncology, I.C.U. and Palliative Care patients.

My experiences in hospitals and other venues prompted me to expand the "toolbox" of therapeutic skills at my disposal. I enrolled into a series of programs, internships and advanced workshops in bodywork, and studied extensively the literature available on western manual medicine. It is during that period that I met, and have since worked closely with and under the mentoring guidance of a great innovator and leading force in this field, Aaron Mattes.

This process eventually morphed into a multi-modal approach blending Eastern and Western cultures to treat musculoskeletal issues, that now includes Touch, Movement, Breath, Energy and Visualization methodologies, that not only address postural imbalances successfully, but also aim to enhance awareness of the 'mind-body connection'.

In 2007, I founded Bodywork Therapeutics, bringing together Integrative Bodywork Solutions directed at improving balance in the Structural, Functional and Energetic systems of the human body and in the process ridding the body of pain symptoms. Recipients are recruited as active participants in their own recovery and discovery process.

I am eternally grateful to my enlightened teachers, mentors and guides for "It is their spirit that lives in my heart and hands": Simone Lévêque, Terence Dunn, Chungliang Al Huang, Chunyi Lin, George Kousaleos, Tom Myers, Erik Dalton, Whitney Lowe, Joe Muscolino, Aaron Mattes, my companion & angel Judith Stafford.

Judy Stafford, RN – Reiki for Stress Reduction, Anxiety, Pre- and Post-Surgery

Judy is a master level Reiki Practitioner and Teacher.  In addition, she also integrates other useful energetic healing modalities in her practice.  Judy was first exposed to energy healing in 1991 when she met Richard Keyes, whom she names as her first teacher in the field of energy work.  The energy healing she received initiated such a dramatic personal transformation in her own physical, emotional, and spiritual life, that she was compelled to learn more.  She went on to study Reiki and completed her Master level in 2002.   Judy has also studied Emotional Freedom Technique, a form of energy psychology involving meridian tapping to release blocked issues to restore a sense of peace and well-being and encourage the body to heal itself.  Judy is a trained hospice volunteer and provides Reiki on special assignment.  She also served as a Reiki volunteer for Hartford Hospital Integrative Medicine Department.
Judy’s passion is Health and Spirituality.  She believes a person’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life must be addressed to achieve optimal health and well-being.  Her own personal journey has led her to India where she has studied Vedanta philosophy, the essence of which she applies to her own life and in her healing practice.

Judy graduated from URI in 1981with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has practiced nursing for 29 years in Connecticut, specializing in Behavioral Health.
